Found Sounds
by Max McCormackFound Theater Company is a new name on the Philly culture map. After two Fringe Festival shows here in Philly, they're back to reclaim the summer. They're kicking things off with the ultimate warehouse party extravaganza. On June 25th the company will host Found Sounds, featuring live music from Philly-based bands Mount Joy, the JLE, and Rosie Langabeer, with a grand finale from rising DJ group Stab + Grab. It is sure to be one epic night as the BookSpace (1113 Frankford Ave) will keep the doors open into the wee hours of the morning and the space is BYOB (if you're old enough).
The up-and-coming theater company is dedicated to reexamining the live-performance experience. This event is nothing like a play, and will most likely resemble Studio 54, the company strives for that sort of blurred-line-inspiration. They will end their summer with another Fringe Festival production, titled Event End. But for now Found is all about music, dancing, and one night of wild fun.
Found Sounds will take place at The BookSpace on Saturday June 25. Doors open at 10 P.M. Tickets are $7 at the door. Visit www.foundtheater.blogspot.com for more info.
