The Walkmen’s Pete Bauer is nice. Like, really nice. And not just because the digital release of the band’s new album You and Me was donated to the Sloan Kettering Cancer Fund; although that’s part of it. The other bit is that after being informed we’d be trying our hand at Madlibs in lieu of a traditional interview, he only asked one, single question. “What’s an adverb?” And so the mind of indie-pop guitarist and organist was picked.
