Megawords Storefront Exhibition

What: Megawords --- the free Philadelphia-based magazine that collaborates with dozens of renowned and unknown artists and thinkers to cover the world through words and pictures --- will leap off the page and into a month-long storefront exhibition during September 2008. The Megawords storefront project and exhibition will include a month-long period of intense activity including permanent and rotating installations, guest speakers, musical performances, workshops and film screenings.

Where: The Megawords Storefront. 1125 N. Cherry Street (corners of 11th and Cherry Streets).

Real Pirates

What: Fulfill all of your unrealized childhood fantasies with a look at the world's first exhibition of authentic pirate treasure. The Real Pirates Exhibition, produced by National Geographic, displays over 200 artifacts from Whydah- a real pirate ship discovered off of the coast of Cape Cod.

State Fair

What: The 200th season of Rodgers & Hammerstein's State Fair, an old-fashioned all-American Broadway musical, is featured against the backdrop of the American heartland tradition. Leave the farm in Iowa and head over to the State Fair where prizes are won and dreams come true!
