The American Red Cross laid out the red carpet this weekend at the Please Touch Museum for their 12th annual Red Ball.  The Please Touch Museum was transformed into a play-land of food, fun, and dancing with over 1,300 attendees partying the night away.

The Red Ball is a staple for the South Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter and the celebration coincides with National Red Cross Month.  This year the ball was presented by Mod Space and raised over $300,000, an all time high--for a single day event--by the area chapter.

Everyone was dressed to the nines, with red gowns running the gamet.  Red Cross SEPA CEO, Judge Renee Cardwell Hughes looked stunning by the carousel, in her figure hugging red gown.

Entertainment was provided by CTO Entertainment Productions and the band made sure everyone was in on the fun.  The heels came off early and the dance floor was in full swing the entire night.  

Along with the night's festivities, the ball included a  restaurant competition, where some of Philly's finest culinary cuisine was available for sampling.  Attendees were able to cast their votes with wooden chips, and at the end of the night Cakes and Desserts by Maryellen raked in the most chips.

The location made for the most fun.  VIP attendees were treated to a ride on the carousel, which topped off the night. 

In terms of galas the Red Ball gets all the love, it's a blood pumping night of fun, for a heart warming cause.  The endless amounts of entertainment and food make it a must, and there's no better cause then The Red Cross, an organization that has been serving our country since 1881.
