An Interview with Director Robert Kenner

Somewhere around picture number 3000 on our Facebook page, some of us may have lost the meaning of the word photography. In a world where we robotically sift through digital photo albums with labels like "FrIdAy NiGhT DRUNKKKS lolz," we haven't yet realized that our friend Gabby doesn't possess the wealth of the world's photography knowledge just because she has a picture of each of her 800 Facebook friends playing beer pong or gagging down a shot of Vladdy. The point is, good photography can be hard to find, but it's out there. Some photos have hidden meaning, some tell stories, some are just eye candy. Whichever you prefer, two.one.five is set on providing it with INSTAMATIC. Our first example of fine work comes from Evan Molyneaux, a Tyler School graduate-to-be and a regular contributor to McJawn.com, a Philadelphia arts and culture magazine. Here, Molyneaux documents the efforts of Stewart. Dean. Ebersole. 2., a self described "outsider" artist who has been bypassing traditional galleries by instead gracing the streets of Philadelphia themselves with his head-turning work. So quit clicking around on your Facebooks and Myspaces for once, sit back, and let your starving eyes binge on the grace and beauty of Mr. Molyneaux's documentation.  - leah mafrica
