Unlike many other hip hop dance events, the IBE is set up like a festival. Every year the IBE invites worldwide renowned dancers (bboys & bgirls, lockers, poppers, house dancers), DJ's, photographers, video editors and special guests. The program, which includes battles, workshops, talkshows, danceshows, exhibitions and music performances, is scheduled in several locations, called Cyphers, located right in the city centre of Heerlen, Netherlands.
