Budweiser Battle for the Crown

There will be only one winner, but ten performances worth watching, especially with a beer in hand. Hosted by Dice Raw, it's guaranteed to fill up quick, so get there early, doors close once the theatre's at capacity.

What: In its third exhibition of Fleisher Art Memorial's Wind Challenge series, Challenge 3 showcases the work of three talented artists. Johanna Inman will be showing old photographs focusing on disregarded books and highlighting the subtleties of time and decomposition; Yvonne Lung will show a video installation based on stories told to her by Chinese immigrants and Constantina Zavitsanos will be showing unique, engaging sculptures. Gallery hours are 11AM - 5PM.

Spring Awakening

What: Multiple Tony Award-winning Broadway musical Spring Awakening comes to Philadelphia. Duncan Sheik (we all remember radio hit "Barely Breathing") wrote all of the music, giving the musical a folky/alternative rock feel, as it explores teenage sexuality and the transition to adulthood in late 19th century Germany.
